Dr. 苏珊娜 玉米 is a neurologist who specializes in caring for people with epilepsy. Whether shepherding her patients through epilepsy surgery, programming their neurostimulation devices, or providing specialized monitoring during pregnancy, she strives to advocate for and support them in reaching their goals.
在研究, 玉米 has studied the surgical treatment of epilepsy related to congenital and acquired brain abnormalities (that is, those present at birth and those that develop later). She has also investigated the impact of stress reduction as an add-on therapy for seizures.
