Yes each patient is different but in general most of the symptoms are the same and patients should expect to have possible symptoms (more severe than pre-retrieval) for 1-2 weeks after retrieval. The entire process is 1 month long before the patient feels "normal" again and that was not well communicated. The process was fine overall but I felt as if I received information about possible symptoms bit by bit when I express discomfort rather than upfront.

She made us feel so calm and comfortable and cared for over and beyond what I've ever experienced with any doctor in my life! I will tell EVERYONE who will listen that she is THE person to see if they need fertility therapies. Our family will forever hold a special place in our hearts for Doctor Mok-Lin she is THE integral part of our baby journey.

    IVF is inherently a crappy experience; UCSF made it the best it could possibly be. I have every confidence that everything that could be done was done well and effectively.
